こんにちは！今回僕が紹介するのは村上城跡です！地元の人間からはお城山と呼ばれている場所です。
村上城は16世紀ごろに標高135mの臥牛山に築城されていたと考えられており、国指定史跡にも登録されています。戦国時代には国人領主本庄氏の本拠地として、越後の大名上杉謙信と篭城戦を繰り広げたこともあるそうです。江戸時代から明治維新にかけては、村上氏のような大名を筆頭とし、城主を転々としました。現在は整備工事が行われ、天守櫓や門のような城郭建造物は存在していませんが、発掘された石垣を積み直し、江戸時代に築かれた貴重な遺構を残しています。
見どころはなんといっても頂上の櫓跡から見える景色と石垣です！櫓跡からは日本海を望む村上市の景色を見渡すことができます！夕方ごろに行くのがオススメです！石垣は、思った以上に大きく、年季を感じられるため、とても重厚感があります！歴史的背景を頭に入れながら訪れて貰いたいです！
僕自身ここに訪れたのは久しぶりなのですが、往復30分とかからないことに加えて、参道者もとてもフレンドリーなので懐かしい気分になりました！

這次要介紹的是村上城跡。本地人叫它城山。
村上城在16世紀標高135m的臥牛山上築城而成的，也被登記為國家指定史跡。在日本的戰國時代(1467~1615年)，當時的國人領主，名字叫本庄，他利用這個城為大本營。當時他戰爭跟越後的大名為上杉謙信。從江戶時代到明治維新，村上的城主常常變動。雖然現在有整備工事，看不到這個城的門口與很漂亮的屋頂，目前正在把石坎再積疊，把在江戶時代創造出來很珍貴的遺產留下。
我覺得在這個城跡中值得看的是從頂上的櫓(像是個箭樓的建築)看到的風景與石坎！從這個櫓能看到村上市的海等等。最好在傍晚的時候去！石坎可能比想象大，感受到年限，十足的厚重感。我希望大家看這個石坎的時候，同時也聯想到歷史。
這個城跡的周邊往復走路要30分左右，雖然我也好久沒來這裡，但是適合散步，而且本地人也很親切，所以會時常懷念這個地方。

This time I will introduce the ruins of Murakami Castle Ruins! It is a place called Shiroyama by locals.
Registered as a nationally designated historic site, the Murakami Castle is believed to have been built around the 16th century, erected on Mt. Gagyuzan at an altitude of 135m. It is said that during the Sengoku era, the regional lord Honjo Shigenaka made the Murakami Castle its headquarters, and has faced a siege attempt by Kenshin Uesugi, the daimyo of Echigo. From the Edo period to the Meiji Restoration, the lords of the castle changed often, with Murakami at the top as the daimyo.
Currently, maintenance work is being carried out, and there are no castle structures such as towers or gates, but the excavated stone walls have been rebuilt, valuable remains built during the Edo period that were left behind.
The highlights are the scenery and the stone walls, which can be seen from the turret at the top! From there, you can enjoy the view of Murakami City all the way to the Sea of Japan! It is recommended to go in the evening! Ishigaki is bigger than I expected, and since you can notice the impact of the seasons, it looks impressive! I would be happy if you would give it visit while keeping in mind the historical background of this place.
It's been a while since I last visited this spot, but in addition to the fact that it takes less than 30 minutes for a round trip, and as the guides were very friendly, I felt nostalgic!
